Michael P. Stone
Chief Executive Officer
Michael is a founder and President of The Stone Group and has led the growth of the firm through the recruitment of top real estate professionals and the development of a unique corporate real estate servicing platform and process. With offices in California, Texas, and Florida, Stone leads the charge in managing multiple real estate portfolios across the country for clients ranging from industrial, retail, and financial service firms, delivering outsourced real estate services to clients across industry groups. In addition, Michael also serves as President of Stone Valley Capital Partners.
Capitalizing on past brokerage experience, Michael began personally investing in real estate assets and development projects. He has since successfully led the acquisition and development of an office condominium project, retail center, and multiple industrial manufacturing, service and distribution centers. His knowledge and commitment to each investment project, whether personal or for partnered investment, is evident through the value he brings during the due diligence process.
Upon founding The Stone Group in 2003, Michael and Patrick Stone quickly built a team of highly skilled professionals focused on serving portfolio business for mid-sized and Fortune 500 companies seeking to outsource the management of real estate transaction business. During his career as a producer, Michael has successfully managed and negotiated over 1,275 commercial leasing and investment transactions across the United States while generating millions in cost savings for his clients, as well as in revenues for the company.
Michael gained his crucial real estate background at various REIT locations. In Austin, TX, he spent three years focused on targeting national financial service companies for tenant representation. Michael started in the commercial real estate industry in 1994 as an asset manager for a national REIT in the Pacific Northwest, where he immediately transitioned into a commercial real estate production role in representing local office, industrial tenants, investors, and landlords.
Michael is a graduate of Eastern Washington University with a degree in Marketing and Finance. He currently lives with his wife and three children in Austin, where he also pursues his passion for fishing.
Brian McCririe
Chief Operating Officer
Throughout his 15 years of experience in the real estate industry, Brian has become an expert in portfolio management, specializing in retail and office tenant representation, real estate development, and investment sales. With his wide-reaching contacts and deep industry knowledge, Brian has been able to forge and implement strategic action plans for a long line of mid-sized firms as well as Fortune 500 companies, maximizing the value of their fixed assets and helping create efficient systems that guarantee repeatable solutions and measurable outcomes.
For over five years, Brian has worked alongside Michael Stone, helping to deliver real estate expertise to clients across industries. Prior to becoming partner at The Stone Group, Brian worked extensively with tenants and on projects across the entire spectrum of commercial office, retail, and investment properties at Leider Hayes Commercial (formerly Blair Hayes Commercial) throughout California. He also cultivated his understanding of the development and entitlement process while managing intricate escrow and title transactions at First American Title.

Brian currently lives with his wife in Santa Barbara, a community he has been a part of for the last twenty years. He graduated with a degree in Psychology from University of California at Santa Barbara, where he played intercollegiate soccer.

Bill Beichler
President
William (Bill) P. Beichler III is President of The Stone Group. Bill joined The Stone Group in 2009 to oversee the day-to-day operations of the company’s large and growing portfolio of client’s.
As leader, innovator, and published author, Bill is an expert in business development, talent acquisition and training.
Bill began his real estate career with Mohr Partners as an Associate Broker, and was promoted to Manager of Business Development. During his tenure at Mohr Partners, Bill was named “Mentor of the year” in 2007. He assisted with centralizing portfolios and providing solutions for numerous clients which resulted in higher profitability. Bill has worked extensively on corporate headquarters relocations, Investment Sales, Build to Suits, and Portfolio Management for multi-market corporations. Bill has successfully managed over eight million square feet of portfolio transactions locally and nationally while simultaneously managing the business operations. His expert market knowledge and personal attention has resulted in millions of dollars in savings and cost avoidance for his clients.
Bill is an active member in (CCIM) and the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR), Young Professionals Forum, Irish American Society and Kick Drugs Out Of America charity foundation. He also served as Chairperson for Facilities and Logistics for the Black Tie Galas of 2004 and 2005 for the Special Olympics of Texas (SOTX).
Don Prater

Since 1984 Don Prater has represented over 200 companies leasing or buying over three million square feet of commercial properties. Prior to joining The Stone Group three years ago, Don was a top producer for
Office Leasing Advisors, a tenant representation company, where he leveraged the experience he had previously gained as a landlord rep at Watson Casey Companies. At Watson Casey, he leased over 920,000 square feet in First City Centre, Republic Plaza, and the Littlefield Buildings.
Don earned his Bachelor of Communications degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

Josh Yearwood
Vice President of Transaction Management
Josh Yearwood, Vice President of Transaction Management, brings his experience in working with national corporate clients to The Stone Group in areas such as transaction management, strategic planning, business development and exclusive tenant representation. A partial list of national clients which Josh has represented are:
Prior to The Stone Group, Josh served as a Business Development Manager for Mohr Partners in Dallas, TX focusing on transaction management and procuring portfolio national accounts. During his time at Mohr Partners, Josh was selected by his peers as employee of the month during November 2008 and quickly became a leader in the Business Development Program.
As Vice President of Transaction Management, Josh is responsible for managing all aspects of the transaction process for his clients as well as overseeing all other transaction managers to ensure company processes and standards are upheld and client expectations are exceeded on each transaction.
After attending Texas A&M University and graduating from Sam Houston State University, Josh earned his Bachelors of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Management and also holds his Texas Real Estate Salesperson License. Josh lives in Houston, TX with his wife Sara and enjoys all sports, traveling, and spending time with his family.
Liam Murphy
Vice President, Advisory Services and Leasing
Liam Murphy is Vice-President of Advisory Services and Leasing for The Stone Group. Liam is responsible for performing needs analyses, formulating action plans, and negotiating transactions for local and national corporations. Liam uses his commitment to integrity, knowledge, and communication to identify and address the immediate needs and long term goals of The Stone Group’s clients.
During his career, he has contributed to several successful service-oriented real estate teams along the California Coast and has consistently exceeded client expectations. His experience in brokerage, development, project management and multi-state investment acquisition provide him insight into the subtleties of each real estate transaction.

Liam graduated with honors from Westmont College in Santa Barbara , earning a degree in Engineering Physics. Debbie McCalpin
Director of Lease Administration
Debbie McCalpin serves as Director of Lease Administration for The Stone Group. Debbie brings over nineteen years commercial real estate expertise to The Stone Group. Her focus is on the day-to-day performance of the Group as she oversees the delivery of all Lease Administration services to The Stone Group clients.
Promoting new ideas and forward thinking, Debbie, helps keep The Stone Group on the leading edge of Tenant Representation Services. She challenges staff to strive for process improvement initiatives, superior quality and rapid project completion. Her goal is to make The Stone Group the company that sets the standard for the real estate industry.
Debbie began her career in the real estate industry as a Lease Administrator and Paralegal for Electronic Data Systems, Nortel Networks, Dal-Tile Corporation. She furthered her career as a Compliance Auditor for Mohr Partners.
Since 1990, Debbie has personally negotiated over one thousand Lease Audit Recoveries for properties in virtually every major North American city. She has successfully dealt with the most difficult individual and commercial landlords and is an authority in the history of Lease Auditing as it pertains to past and present practices. Having recovered millions of dollars through Lease Auditing, Debbie’s knowledge of Lease Accounting, proven management and negotiations skills has set the tone for The Stone Group.
Debbie’s training at the Building Owners Management Institute and University of North Texas– Professional Development Institute has provided her with the necessary tools to lead The Stone Group’s Lease Administration Department. She is a Member of Corporate Real Estate Women (CREW Dallas).
Debbie resides in Forney with her husband Terry. Together, they have five children and a dog. The McCalpin’s enjoy the outdoors and cruising.
Katie Alvarado

With her vast knowledge and accomplished work history, Katie is an invaluable asset to The Stone Group. Throughout her career, Katie’s broad talents have led her across industries, with projects including corporate office design, hotel design, hospital design, town home time-share development, rental property design, and furniture design. Particularly proficient in project management, she has managed projects from the large-scale to the narrow-focused, developing an extensive range of skills and capabilities. Katie has significant experience in client branding and prototyping, writing specifications, making selections of FF&E, creating drafted elevations and floor plans, drafting test-fits, creating space efficiencies, managing move coordination, and performing interior site surveys.
Katie graduated Summa Cum Laude at the top of her class from Texas State University , where she earned a degree in Interior Design.
